I have modified your code slight so I can use it to populate a mock IDbContext and therefore use it to seed an my entities for easy testing. This works a treat.

What I thought would be good though is a utility that generates xsd based on the entities and therfore enables intellisense when editing the XML file.

What are you views?

Well, apparently I didn't have notifications turned on. So here it is 4.5 months later, and I'm just now seeing this. If you happen to be subscribed to this thread, I apologize.

I think that is an awesome idea. Writing the XML file without intellisense is not a very enjoyable experience. I think I will try to write a T4 template to accomplish this very soon.. unless you have a better idea.

I've actually had the idea of making this a tool for DbContext mocking in the back of my head. It may have better success as a testing tool than as an actual database seeder. Feel free to share how you implemented it or even send me a pull request on Github, if you're in to that sort of thing.
